ROBERT GARCAR, JR., age 65, passed away on October 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Kathy (nee Spreitzer), loving father of Michael (Ashley), and Ryan; dear grandfather of Robert James; brother of Karen Murphy (the late Sean), David (Donna), and Michelle Naypauer (Tim).

Bob was a devoted husband and father who loved his family unconditionally. From organizing family gatherings to something as simple as having a meal together, Bob always prioritized his family first and loved nothing more than spending time with them. Bob was an active member of St. Barnabas Parish, volunteering frequently at the church and participating in organizations such as the Knights of Columbus and St. Barnabas's Men's Group. Faith was integral to Bob's life, and he spent time sharing this passion with younger generations through his work with St. Barnabas's Confirmation Ministry, Life Teen. In addition to his faith and family, Bob loved athletics, believing they taught several intangible life lessons. Whether it was attending live sporting events, like watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers, or coaching several youth sports teams in the area, Bob could always be found sharing his love of athletics with others.

Funeral Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
