RICHARD A. WOLFF, age 81, passed away on February 19, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Bonnie (nee Brichford); loving father of Karen Byars (Joe) and Michael Wolff (fiancee Becca); dear grandfather of Andrew Byars, Jacob Byars, Stephanie Byars, Sean Byars, John-Patrick Byars, Jenna Wolff (fiance Mac), and Maria Wolff; son of the late Al and Mary; brother of the late Robert Wolff; dear uncle.

Richard served in the U.S. Army. He was a much loved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was lifelong resident of northeast Ohio and Cleveland sports fan. He was such an enthusiastic fan he convinced his son to pry open chain link fences and sneak into Jacobs Field while it was still under construction to take pictures. He worked for Terex and Westfield Insurance, starting as a computer coding specialist, starting with punch cards and ending  with advanced computer languages of the day. He also supported many charitable organizations, including our local parks, animal shelters and Christian causes.

Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2024 FROM 12 NOON – 2:00 P.M. Richard's funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family interment services will be celebrated on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Kirtland South Cemetery in Kirtland, Ohio.

Memorial contributions are suggested in his name to the Conservancy for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, 1403 West Hines Hill Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264 or to a local animal shelter.
