Obituary

Phillip Clifford O'Brien (PC), age 41, of Northfield, Ohio, passed away on June 3, 2026. Phillip was a man who brought joy wherever he went. Known for his big heart, infectious spirit, and love of having fun, he had a special gift for making people laugh and feel welcome. Whether he was spending time with family and friends or taking the microphone for a favorite karaoke song, Phillip embraced life with enthusiasm and left lasting memories with everyone fortunate enough to know him. More than anything, Phillip cherished the people he loved. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives. He also adored his beloved dog, Leah, who was a constant source of companionship, comfort, and joy. His warm personality, sense of humor, and caring nature will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. Phillip is survived by his loving mother, Nancy O'Brien; his sister, Kelly Leggin and her spouse, Richard Skolnekovich; his sister, Kristina Wood and her spouse, Nathan Wood; his nieces, Sadie Barrett and Alexis Wood; his nephews, Logan Barrett and Cameron Wood; his grand-niece, Ava Pop; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip S. O'Brien; his grandfathers, Robert Keller and Phillip P. O'Brien; and his grandmothers, Sue Keller and Margaret O'Brien. Though Phillip's time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and happiness he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy is one of joy, compassion, and the reminder to celebrate life's moments with the people who matter most. Phillip will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
