Peggy Sue
Cook
Mar 1, 1958 — Apr 20, 2026
PEGGY SUE COOK, age 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, in hospice care in
Broadview Heights, Ohio. Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She
was born on March 1, 1958, and is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Sr. and Delores
(Shultz) Wade; and her brothers, Michael Wade and Ralph Wade Jr.
Peggy was passionate about her work and loved spoiling her grandchildren. She especially
cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and with her close friends, both of
whom meant the world to her. Whether she was fishing, watching basketball, traveling, or
camping, it wasn't so much about what she was doing—it was about being together. She had
a special way of making people feel welcome, valued, and loved. In her own way, Peggy was
a bit of a mystery—in the best sense—living a life full of depth, connection, and moments
that were uniquely her own. She had an impact on each person she interacted with and
lived life to the fullest.
Peggy is survived by the father of her children, Gary Cook Sr.; her children, Nichole (Tom)
Wunderle, Michelle (Chris) Peifer, and Gary Jr. (Sarah) Cook; her siblings, Denise Wade, Elba
Wade, and Barbara (Wade) Tabacsko; and her beloved grandchildren, Lauren, Kyle, Morgan,
Aidan, Benjamin, and Briella, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends, and all whose lives Peggy touched are invited to join her family in
celebrating her life on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11 AM to 3 PM at North Royalton
Christian Church, 5100 Royalton Rd., North Royalton, Ohio 44133. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests that donations be made to The City Mission Homeless Shelter, an
organization Peggy held close to her heart.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.PP
