MICHELLE M. KOCIAN (nee Prosek), age 68, of Richfield, Ohio, formerly of Bay Village, Ohio passed away on September 14, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1957, to Dolores Prosek and the late James Prosek. Michelle earned her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice with high distinction from The University of Akron. Using this degree, she served her communities as a law enforcement dispatcher and as the community service coordinator and LEADS TAC operator for the Summit County Court of Common Pleas. She received numerous awards and recognitions for her exemplary work performance. After retirement in 2022, she devoted her time to the things that she loved: family, friends, nature, and fulfilling a lifelong dream of traveling to Paris. Proud mother of Clifford Kocian, III and Corey Anna Kocian (Taylor Kocian, Ph.D.); sister of Denise Williams and Rose Sokolowski.
