MARY MARGARET BERGMAN (nee Kovach): passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Ludwig “Bud” Bergman, who has been “waiting on his woman” since his passing in 2010. Dear mother of Martin, Angela Holpuch (Robert), Janice Fudge (William deceased), Julianne Wingenfeld, Alan and Ludwig. Loving grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 34. Sister of Judy Hardy and the following deceased siblings: Paul Kovach, Josephine LeDonne, Thomas Kovach and Johanna Swetz. Preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Pauline Kovach. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Mary’s name to Jennings Center for Older Adults 10204 Granger Rd. Garfield Hts., OH 44125 or at jenningsohio.org/donate to be used for the activities program. Family and friends are asked to gather at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church 14600 Turney Rd. Maple Heights for VISITATION WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7th from 10:00-11:00AM. Immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Mary’ life at 11:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
