MARK ANDREW KOSLOW, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 27, 2024. Proud father of Mirabelle and Forest; loving son of the late R. Gerald Koslow  and Barbara Ellen Gormley Koslow; brother of Ellen, Ann, Jerry, the late Robert and Jeff; ex-husband of Bonnie.

Mark was born in Berkely, California – a place that never left his heart.  A talented and prolific artist, writer, and poet with a profound love for history and nature, Mark had an insatiable curiosity for the universe.  His life was marked by both beauty and complexity, a duality that defined much of who he was and how he will be remembered.

He possessed a deep, innate sensitivity that allowed him to see and express the world in ways few could. He believed passionately that nature had rights, championing the idea that the earth, its animals, and its landscapes deserved protection and respect.

As we remember Mark, we remember the beauty he brought into the world through his art and the enduring impact of his belief that nature itself had a voice that deserved to be heard. He leaves behind Mirabelle and Forest, the lights of his life, and a legacy of creations that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
