Capital Builders & Supply was founded in 1964 by Louis Aloi and his career spanned over 59 years. Early on he started working as a carpenter alongside his father. He and his wife Nancy had a growing family and together they fulfilled their dream of owning their own business. They were early pioneers offering siding, replacement windows and roofing. Lou worked very long hours and weekends, and no one was more dedicated to building a successful business.  He was very involved in upholding the industry standards and was a longtime member of the Better Business Bureau, Past President of the Cleveland Home Improvement Council, Past President of National Association Remodeling Association and serviced as an arbitrator.  In the mid 70's he became involved as a real estate developer and built several commercial buildings which became Capital Square Business Park.

He had two loyal and dedicated employees, JoAnne Sorace and Carol Korbel which he considered lifelong friends. Over the last 36 years, he had the pleasure of working with his son Dominic, which he dreamed would one day follow in his footsteps. He had many business associates, canvassers, salesman and contractors that it is impossible to mention all by name but each one left an indelible impression in his heart.

He will be remembered as a successful entrepreneur, his excellent negotiating skills, the thrill of a deal and being frugal with his expenses. However, no one will forget the Capital business trips, the Christmas gifts and the annual Christmas letter and his very generous heart.
