LOLA SHARP (nee Zuchegna), age 87, of Brecksville, OH, died February 7, 2024, after a brief illness.  Loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother, Lola was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Sharp, and her sister, Leah.  She is survived by her son Mark (Donna); daughter Stacey; and granddaughter Paige.

Lola was born in East Cleveland, OH to Amedeo and Irma Zuchegna, who came to America to start a new life.

She graduated from Shaw High School where she made life-long friends and met Bill Sharp, the love of her life.

Lola and Bill later settled in Lyndhurst, OH, where they raised their two children. While raising her children, Lola joined the Lyndhurst Police Department, as a part-time secretary where she worked for over 32 years before retiring in 2002.

Lola spent retirement visiting friends and family and enjoying her home and yard in Brecksville. She kept her mind sharp solving crossword and Sudoku puzzles and playing along with "Jeopardy!" every night.

Private family funeral services were celebrated.
