Linda Riley (née Hershey), 79, of Macedonia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Marion Hershey and her siblings Don (Marilyn) Hershey, Carole (Marvin) Sommer, and Marilyn (Bill) Dvorak.

A devoted mother, Linda is lovingly remembered by her sons Woodrow "Woody" Riley (Cindy) and Kevin Brown (Tracy); and cherished by her grandchildren Billy R. O'Neal III, Maxwell B. O'Neal, Wilson Kyle Riley, and Shaye Schoen (Jacob).

A proud lifelong resident of Macedonia, Linda graduated in 1964 as part of one of the first classes from the "new" high school on S. Bedford Road. She treasured her enduring friendships with classmates, keeping up with their lives and gathering often to reminisce.

Linda found great joy in the birds and wildlife that visited her backyard. She faithfully fed every creature—famously sharing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the groundhogs and raccoons. Her beloved cats were the offspring of a stray she lovingly nursed, and she also spent years as a dedicated breeder of huskies.

Professionally, Linda was deeply proud of her work and the friendships she formed at Lucerne Products in Boston Heights, where her colleagues became like family.

Linda will be interred at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery in Northfield following her funeral services.
