LaVerne Alice Heffernan, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.  Loving wife of the late William J. Heffernan; cherished mother of Christy Sperry (Steve), William Heffernan (Lisa), the late Mark Heffernan (Amy), and Patty Heffernan; adored grandmother of 10: Matthew (Jen), Patrick, Caitlin (Mike), Maggie (Sam), Bill (Rini), Hallie, Spencer, Maddy, Danny, and Christopher; loved great grandmother of 4: Jack, Ryan, Henry, and George. She is survived by her brother Raymond "Bud" Herold. Her home was filled with music and laughter.  She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She had a great sense of style and loved to cook. Laverne will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Private family services were celebrated. Interment at a later date at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
