Lamont A. Cunningham, age 66, of Macedonia, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 after a long hard fight following a tragic motorcycle accident. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia and growing up in California and in North Hill Akron. Lamont Graduated from Akron North High School. Lamont worked as a Facilities Manager at GoJo Industries where he leaves behind many special friends and co-workers. He was a passionate sports fan (loved the underdogs), loved the horses, avid music listener, dog lover and frequent flier to Anna Maria Island to manage Tortilla Bay. Lamont had a gravitational pull in any room he walked into. Loving husband of Margaret (nee Jubeck) for 35 years; beloved father of Keegan Cunningham (wife Hannah) and Tricia Tomechko (husband Zack); devoted grandfather of Harper and Tucker Cunningham; dearest son of Beverly Scott and Leo Cunningham (both deceased); cherished brother of Connie Kautz (husband Steve), Willy Cunningham (wife Shirley), Leo Cunningham (wife Linda) and Markie Cunningham (wife Tabitha); close friends with Larry Pritt Jr. and all of the following deceased Chuck Fueston, Matt Dennis, Victor Ferrante and Tommy Watson; "funcle" to many of his nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
