JOHN C. MARCHESE; 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Donna Patricia (Nee Balzano); Loving father of  Rosana Marchese-Downer (Scott), Paula Patriarca (Dan), William (Judy Fijalkovich), and Robert (Laura); Cherished grandpa of Valerie McKiernan (Eeamonn), Justin Marinchick (Kerry), Brian Patriarca (Casey), Jeffrey Marinchick (Rachel), Joshua Marchese, Sarah Marchese, Amy Marchese, and Jacob Marchese; Dearest great-grandpa of Liam, Colin, Harper, and Parker; Dear brother of Robert Marchese  (Eileen); brother-in-law of Anita Balzano, Paul Balzano (late Annette), and Dante Balzano (Roseanne);  John had an incredible love for people and enjoyed making them smile. His passion for life and positive attitude carried him through the hardships he faced throughout his life. He also enjoyed all types of music and movies, but his passion was for the theatre where he produced and directed many stage productions. When asked what he was most proud of in his life, John would without  hesitation say his children and grandchildren! Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD. (ST. RT. 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR MEMORIAL VISITATION WEDNESDAY 4:00-7:00PM. A celebration of John's life will be held Wednesday 7:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to gather Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 342 S. Chillicothe Rd. Aurora for a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate John's life at 11:00AM.
