Joan Marie
Nazareth
Mar 15, 1935 — Jun 15, 2024
JOAN MARIE NAZARETH, 89, entered into heaven on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Loving wife of Harold Nazareth for 67 years; cherished mother of Laura Mobley (Jeffrey), LeeAnn Coyne (Patrick), Linda Maglionico (Paul), and Lisa Heimann (Johnny); adored grandmother of Sarah (Ian), Alyssa (Collin), Victoria (Jeremy), Hannah (Mitchell), Nicholas (Nicole), Katelyn (Vincent), Vincent, Olivia and Brayden; beloved great grandmother of Dominic, Barrett, and Colette on the way. Preceded in death by her parents Leo and Agnes Paulick.
To say that Joan lived her life to the fullest would be an understatement. In a valiant effort to encapsulate 89 beautiful years, Joan began her career as a cosmetologist straight out of high school. A charismatic and charming individual, Joan was known to make friends easily. Whether that be her clients in the chair or her bank teller, she never failed to make others' days. Many remember her by her memorable smile and laugh. Transitioning into working in St. Columbkille's lunchroom, Joan loved serving not only the public, but other's children. An avid theatergoer, Joan worked in the Union in wardrobe. Of her many passions, she was a season ticket holder for the Cleveland Guardians. Being a resident of Cleveland was one of her greatest prides. She also enjoyed taking weekend casino trips with her husband, taking their chance on the luck of the draw. She was a remarkable, caring, and compassionate woman. Joan loved to reach others through her cooking, and many note that her chicken paprikash recipe still cannot be replicated. A soul gone too soon; we know that Joan is resting peacefully with our Lord. Her faith was strong, and ours will remain steadfast in remembrance of her. Joan was a dear wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love for her husband and best friend, Harold, is one that we can only wish to replicate. Our hearts will remain forever changed.
While Joan loved flowers, she was enthusiastic and diligent in giving to the St. Jude Foundation. Contributions can be made at https://tinyurl.com/ycpluxgj .
