Jay Best (73), better known as Tim, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was joined in his final days by his devoted wife Linda Best, loving sons Timothy (Amy), and Brandon and cherished grandchildren Mason, Levi, Ava, Bridget and Micah. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Shannon and Betty and his brother Shannon II and his wife Marylou. Tim lived a joyful life full of laughter and fun and great times with his family and friends.  He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Tim was a proud union steel worker for over 30 years. He also was an entrepreneur, in many fields. A jack of all trades. He loved watching both his sons play hockey, he enjoyed golfing, boating and vacations. In leu of flowers it would be greatly appreciated to make donations to "Cure Alzheimer's Fund" or "The Alzheimer's Association". Family and friends are invited to gather at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD. (OH RTE 82), SAGAMORE HILLS where a celebration of Tim's life, will be held Saturday July 6, 2024 at 4P.M. MEMORIAL VISITATION SATURDAY JULY 6, 2024 2P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
