His family begs him to allow just a few words about our love for him. We will always remember how he made our lives feel stable and safe....how he role-modeled the importance of loving and supporting each other....how he taught us practical ways to take care of our homes and possessions....how he emphasized education and continuing to better ourselves in our chosen fields....how he made joyful games out of routine daily occurrences....how he was a stickler for rules but ever ready to forgive and embrace....how he cherished his family's history and patiently recounted tales of past generations....how he kept this large family close by bringing us all together one week a year in the Northwoods of Wisconsin...and at the end - after years and years of being the strong, tough, solid rock of the family - he taught us how to graciously accept help when age and illness finally caused him to be the one in need of assistance and support. His love and joy will outlast him - we have learned from a master. We know what to do. Visitation at Ferfolia Funeral Home, 356 W. Aurora Road (330-465-4500) on Friday, September 27 from 2-7:00 pm.
