GREGORY E. URBANEK, SR, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Loving husband of the late Joanne “Josie” (nee Romanini); devoted father of Kim Rosselot (Garry), Melissa Anderson (James), and the late Greg Jr.; cherished grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kyle, Madeline, Cale, Jordan, and Allison; adored great papa of Kyleigh and Kendall. Greg is the son of the late Edward and Anne Urbanek. He is the brother of the late Edward Brian Urbanek, Jeffery Urbanek (Stephanie), Claudia Monroe (Steve deceased), and Nancy Whyle (Sam). He is the uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Greg will be remembered for his love for the game of golf, his wednesday night card games, and his long standing membership at the historic Tanglewood Country Club. Friends are invited to gather for a memorial mass at the Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023, on Thursday, 11:00 am. VISITATION, 10:30 AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
