GERMAINE GAIL POLENSEK, age 69, passed away on June 19, 2024. Beloved wife of David Juchnik; loving mother of Alexa Juchnik Greathouse (Paul), Jenna Juchnik; cherished "Gigi" of Marlaina Greathouse, Cambria Greathouse, and Tristan Greathouse; sister of William Polensek, Robert Polensek (Sharon), and the late Michael Polensek; dear sister-in-law of Elaine Juchnik and Darlene Yax (David); joyful aunt of Melissa Sirca, Jaylah Sirca, Will Polensek, Rachel Polensek (Jason), Liam Polensek, David Polensek (Alexandra), Danielle Polensek, Jonathan Hartman (Davina), Benjamin Hartman, Jay Yax (Leah), David Yax, Alyssa Yax, Joe Yax (Alexa), Zachary Yax, Lukas Yax, Patrick Forrer and Alec Forrer; daughter of the late Michael and Germaine.

Gigi loved life! She meant so much to so many people. She gave freely of everything she had and everything she was. She was a one-of-a-kind daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, wife, mother, aunt, teacher, mentor, and grandma. She loved her parents, brothers, family, friends, and students with all she had. She loved her husband, daughters, son, and grandkids with everything she was. She will be truly missed but her joie de vivre lives on in everyone she loved and who loved her in return.

Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA ROAD (OH RT 82), FOR VISITATION ON SUNDAY, JUNE 23, 2024 FROM 2-6 P.M. Funeral Monday, June 24, 2024 at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
