FREDERICK "FRED" W. MAHNKE, JR., 67, of Brecksville, passed away April 8, 2026. Beloved husband of Caroline (nee Krent); loving dad of Kristen M. Fitchko (Joshua), Emily Mahnke-Couger (John), and the late Matthew F.; cherished grandpa of Matthew, Nolan, and Posie; dearest son of Frederick W. Mahnke Sr. and the late Faye Mahnke (nee Alexander); dear brother of John (Trudy), Arlene Fassinger (Rob), Steve, Mary Ann Likar (Butch), and the late Kathy Brooks; uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church. Fred led a full life of fascinating experiences, achievements, and treasured moments stemming from his intellectual and business pursuits, his lifelong engagement in the sport of wrestling, his enjoyment of music, fishing, and relaxing in the sun, and the great importance he placed on his cherished family.
