FRANK “RED” BROWN, 85, of Middleburg Heights, passed away August 4, 2026. Beloved husband to Catherine “Sunday” (nee Verbiar); Loving father to Michael (Jill); Cherished grandpa to Sarah, Matthew, and Allyson, Dearest son to the late Frank A. Brown and the late Juliana (nee Smith); Dear brother to Kathryn “Kaye” Protiva (the late Tim), Donald (Jackie), and Karen “Kiki” Pietrowski (John); Brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many, and beloved neighbor to ID Gann (Brenda), Dennis Kobasuk (Dawn), and Deepak Chandran (Gayathri). Red was ONE of a kind, did things his way, always looked to laugh, unless he was telling you that you were "wrong". Red was a career painter, starting out in business with his father and then retiring from Cleveland State University in 2003. Red was an accomplished baseball player in his youth, and an avid golfer and ping pong player in his adult and senior years. He loved flower gardening as a hobby. His passion lay in the love he had and shared with his family, specifically his grandchildren. Family and Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD.
