FLORENCE V. PICCOLOMINI ZIMMERLINK, 86. In the early morning hours of June 13th, Florence Piccolomini Zimmerlink passed peacefully in her sleep.

She was born November 22, 1937, to John and Mary Deszaran, they are awaiting her at heaven's gate with her dear sisters, Dorothy Linhart and Margurite Deszaran along with her husbands, Ervin Anthony Piccolomini and Joseph Zimmerlink.

She is survived by her children Mark Piccolomini (Lori) of Olmsted Falls, Donna Bailey (Tom) of New Stanton, PA, Paula Soukup (Ed) of Maple Heights and David Piccolomini (Marne) of North Royalton. Her much-loved grandchildren, Stephanie, Tommy, Sara, Natalie, Michael, Matthew and Dominic, and her great granddaughter Gianna, who shares her birthday.

Flo, Diz, G-Flo, however you knew her, loved spending time with her family, and her many get-togethers with her dear school friends. She was happy anytime she got to pull the levers at the casinos, win or lose she always had fun. She liked to cook and encouraged all "don't be afraid to eat." She was hopelessly terrible at making long stories short, always bid too high in Pinochle, loved to read and made way too many Kleenex boxes, Afghans, and crafts.

She will be missed, but the stories we can tell will keep her in our hearts and minds for many years to come.

Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA ROAD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2024 FROM 4-8 P.M. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
