EUNICE M. CENGIC (nee Steenstra) age 89 of Seven Hills. Beloved wife of the late Sam Cengic and the late Joseph Ignazzitto; loving mother of Gina Ignazzitto (Vern Balodis) and Joseph Ignazzitto (Karen); cherished grandmother of Oliver Ignazzitto, Cass Ignazzitto and Jane Karina Balodis (Fiancé Steven Marcum); sister of the following deceased, Myron Steenstra (Peggy) and Marilyn Parsson (Reuben); dear companion of Joseph Piskac. Aunt, Great-Aunt, and friend to many. Eunice was born in Cleveland, Ohio in May 1937, to the late Simon “Cy” and Helen Steenstra (nee Painting). She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians, traveling, and, above all, caring for others. Eunice was proud to be a graduate of the Central School of Practical Nursing, earning one of Ohio’s earliest Practical Nursing License. Her nursing career spanned more than 50 years and included service at Lutheran Medical Center, Polyclinic Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente.
