Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Lohm, a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend, who left us peacefully on October 30th, 2024. Born on June 6, 1968, Eric lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, and a deep love for his family and friends.

Eric graduated from Mt Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh PA in 1986 where he went on to study marketing at Bowling Green State University. Eric then started on a remarkable and distinguished sales career, leaving a lasting positive impact on both colleagues and clients. During his impressive 17 years at Dirt Devil as National Account Manager, he received multiple awards in recognition of his outstanding achievements in sales, distribution, and profit, which ultimately led to his promotion to Director of Sales. His sales passion then led him to iDesign, where he held several prestigious roles, including National Account Manager and Director of Home Centers. Eric was celebrated at iDesign for his unwavering dedication and significant contributions, earning the prestigious accolade of National Account Leader of the Year. The legacy he left in the sales industry is one of exceptional leadership and a commitment to excellence that will be remembered by all who had the privilege to work with him.

Eric was known for his passion for boating and fishing, spending countless weekends on the water where he felt most at home (likely with Bruce Springsteen or Kenny Chesney blasting on his speaker). If it was a Sunday during football season, the Pittsburgh Steelers would undoubtedly be the main focus of the day. Travel was also an important part of his life, and he had the privilege of traveling often for work and enjoyed many memorable vacations with his family.

Eric was a remarkable individual whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, particularly his family. Beloved husband of Linda (Compton); loving father of Caroline Lohm and Sarah Lohm; dear son of Anna Rose and the late Gustave Lohm; cherished brother of Leann Lawlor, Keith Lohm, and Kristin Toth (David); loving uncle of Ryan Lawlor, Marissa Lohm, Tyler Lohm, Alexis Lohm, Lauren Toth, Christopher Toth, and Rachel Toth.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories and stories, as we honor the spirit of a man who truly lived life to the fullest.
