ELAINE CLAIRE PINTER (nee Renwick), 87, of Valley View passed away on April 1, 2025. She was the devoted wife of the late John; cherished mother of John Jr. (Edda), Cheryl (Steve) Sutkaytis, Kenric (Teresa), Kendra (Matthew) Zusy, Cynthia,Jason (Tracy), and the late Alan; loving grandmother of Colleen (Nick) Bursic, Alice (Pete) Zaharas, Brian (Grace), Carly Pinter, Brady Pinter, Aaron Zusy, Taylor Zusy, and the late Lucinda Charlotte Pinter; beloved great grandmother of Josie Bursic and Madison Bursic; loving sister of Charlene (Michael) Inesso and all the following deceased Barry Renwick and Bonnie Angello (Frank); dear aunt of many.

Elaine was born on September 15, 1937, to the late Charlotte (nee Brockway) and Stephen Renwick. She graduated from Vernon Verona Sherrill High School in 1955. After graduation, Elaine was a telephone operator. Her family ran a business near Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome, NY where she met her husband of nearly 65 years.  Elaine raised her family in her hometown of Rome, New York for many years, but moved to Ohio when her husband's job took him back to the Cleveland area and ultimately, Valley View. After her children were all finally in school, Elaine worked at United Savings Bank (later TransOhio) where she met her dear friends Chris Piazza and Janice Gembarski. Later, Elaine worked at Hough Bakery and Koinonia Homes but eventually found her "home away from home" working for Valley View with Clerk-Treasurer Carol Tomasko. She also served Mayor Arthur Westfall and was an active member of the Valley View Historical Society.  Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family, playing BINGO, winning at the local casinos, and going on gambling trips with her late husband.
