EDITH BALAS SELONG (Nee Balas), age 104, passed away on March 20, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Selong; loving mother of Richard Selong (Beverly) and William Selong (Sally); dear grandmother of Jason Selong (Tiffany), Garth Selong (Christine), Kirsten Rini (Joseph), Jeffrey Selong, Sarah Wytzka (Jeffrey), Annie Boedeker (Kevin), and Kelly Stone (David); dear great grandmother of Anna Selong, Eli Selong, Jacob Selong, Maddy Selong, Brody Selong, Emily Rini, Matthew Rini, Olivia Wytzka, Colin Wytzka, Oliver W. Stone, Abigail Stone, Kate Boedeker, and Jack Boedeker; sister of all the following deceased Susan Johnston, Margaret Hulvey, Elizabeth Ersius, Ann Hulvey, Andrew Balas, and John Balas. Private family funeral services were celebrated with interment at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
