DONALD HENRY SCHILK JR. Age 68, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2024. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Tremsyn); loving father of Allison Kulka (Eric) and Lisa Schilk; devoted grandfather of Noah, Alaina and Kilian; dear brother of Lawrence Schilk (Sophia) and Suzanne Bohacek (Fred); cherished and oldest son of the late Donald and Dolores Schilk. Don had a long successful career at South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools, working every school since 1985. Don was the Local 110 Union President and Senior Maintenance Attendant with expertise in electrical, boiler and plumbing. He had a superb work ethic and commitment to the district. He was a friend to many that have walked the same halls he did for so many years. His love of his job and work family is why he never retired. Don was an avid reader, motorcycle enthusiast and found a passion in reading Tarot cards. Don often spent some free time giving readings at Goddess Elite. He was an animal lover and had two cats, Bella and Lily. He also loved his furry grandkids and brought toys to Alli's dog Draco whenever he visited. Some of Don's favorite and most often seen clothes were his flannel coat, work shirt, or Harley Davidson Shirt with a pad and pen in his pocket.
