DONALD N. CAREY, age 88, of Macedonia, passed away January 27, 2024.  Beloved husband of 66 years of JoAnn (nee Kowalsky); loving father of Cindy Feller, Donald J., Kathy Noble (Dave), and Tom (Annette); caring grandfather of Caitlin Feller, Shannon Braimah, Donald D., Lisa E. Gaskil (Michael), Lolita McCauley (Joel), and Laquita Roberson; great grandfather of Annika, Ryder, Abel, Finley, Oliver, Lily, Joe, Makayla, and Lauryn; dearest brother of Ralph (Beverly), and Glenn (Suzy).

He was a longtime member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church.

The mold was broken when this Christmas baby was born. Donald Noel was a Christmas baby…born on December 25th in 1935.  He was born and raised in Cleveland where he met the love of his life, JoAnn.

Don became a loyal husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  As a husband, he was always by JoAnn's side, supportive in good times and bad.  They shared a deep love for 66 years.

Don and JoAnn brought four wonderful children into the world:  Cindy, Don, Kathy, and Tom.  Don was reliable, strong, and devoted…always there for his family no matter what.

He loved gardening, birdwatching, long drives, loving nature in the parks, and he was an excellent cook; cooking a mean kielbasa and kraut!

Don was welcoming and non judgmental…embracing the diversity of his growing family.  He was a loyal friend to many.

We love you and will miss you forever!  Hey dad!  This Bud's for you!!!

Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD. (OHIO RTE. 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR MEMORIAL VISITATION MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2024 FROM 5-8 P.M. Memorial Service Tuesday 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald's name Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110.
