DARRYL A. INNOCENZI, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Loving husband of Elizabeth; cherished brother of Darlene Crowther (the late Denis), and Laura Blackburn (Dean); dear brother-in-law- of Nick Racco, Kay Racco (the late James), and Therese Burke (Bill); cherished uncle of many. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Theresa Innocenzi. Darryl was a friend to too many to count. As a teacher, counselor, and administrator, Darryl had the unique ability to maneuver between personal connections and professional responsibilities. The number of students, staff, parents, and community members whose lives he impacted is innumerable. There are so many stories of former students who had an interaction with "Mr. I" that impacted their entire life. His influence in the lives of young teachers was amazing. He covered up his soft side with humor, but his dedication and love was evident on a daily basis. He was the heart of anywhere he was, and anything he was involved in. He was the friend that held a special place in your heart even while he was saying something outrageous about you to you. If you met him once you would never forget him.
