Cheryl Lynn Davenport of Northfield, Ohio passed away on March 21,2024 at the age of 78. Cheryl was a 1963 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Canton, Ohio and went on to earn her Nursing Degree from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in 1966. She was a registered nurse at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights in the Labor and Delivery unit. Upon her retirement, she was a home healthcare nurse and enjoyed this aspect of nursing as well.

Cheryl was the beloved daughter of the late Donald Sr. and Frances and loving sister of the late Donald Jr. She is survived by her sister in law; Susan Davenport ( Steiner), nieces: Shawn Marie Buttrill and Sarah Jane (Vince) Perkowski and nephews: Adam James ( Katie) and Aaron Joel ( Joy) Davenport. Great nieces and nephews Gavin, Teagan & Camberlee Perkowski, Savannah Buttrill, Landen & Ethan Davenport and Nolan, Noelle and Noah Davenport. She is also survived by cousins & many friends, especially Don Schneider and her sweet dog, Maggie Rose. Cheryl was an avid animal lover as well as ALL things green. Enjoyed board games, in particular Scrabble and was quite the artist.

Family and friends are invited to gather at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine  Rd. Northfield , Ohio 44067 where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday April  6th 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Private inurnment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon, Ohio. Cheryl's family wish to thank the many people who helped her throughout her illness. Much gratitude to the nurses at the Cleveland Clinic J01 division who were amazing during Cheryl's last few days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
