BEVERLY J. SELONG was born on July 6, 1942 to Cleo and Mildred Fox in Ashland, Ohio. She passed away on June 23, 2024 at 81 years old. Beverly was the beloved wife of Richard D. Selong for 58 years; loving mother of Jason Selong (Tiffany), Garth Selong (Christine), and Kirsten Rini (Joseph); cherished grandmother of Eli Selong, Anna Selong, Jacob Selong, Madelyn Selong, Brody Selong, Emily Rini, and Matthew Rini; dear sister of Deborah Seaboyer (Stephen), and the late Loren Fox. Beverly was a woman of many talents, but her proudest achievement was her three children and seven grandchildren.  Her reputation for her baking was renowned in her church where she had an immense commitment to God and community. She had wonderful life-long friends that she cared for deeply since her days at Kent State University, teaching high school and in higher education at Tri-C and Cleveland State University, as well as her neighbors of 40 years that stood the test of time. Beverly was an accomplished pianist that loved playing for family and just for the joy of herself!

Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2024 FROM 4-7 P.M. All are asked to gather at Divinity Lutheran Church, 11877 Blossom Avenue, Parma Heights, Ohio on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. to celebrate Beverly's Memorial Services.  A reception will follow at church.  Private family committal services will be celebrated at Miller Cemetery in Vermillion Township, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in her name to Divinity Lutheran Church at the above address.
