Ann Louise Spicel (nee Walsh), 72, was ushered into the arms of our beautiful Savior Jesus Christ on May 6, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Joseph Walsh Sr. and Rosemary Walsh (nee Cowper). Ann grew up with two older brothers, Joseph "Pat" Walsh (Laurel), and Thomas Walsh (Molly), and was an older sister to Cathy McGowan (Ed), Brian Walsh (Sharon), and Connie Walsh. She married Michael Spicel at 18 and dedicated her life to serving her three daughters: Kim Osmic (Hugh), Kerri Reddington (Paul), and Marcie Spicel. She was also a grandmother to Laura, Bennett, Mickey, and Ally and an aunt to many. Her mental and emotional fortitude enabled her to comfort and advocate for families as she worked for 30 years as an oncology nurse. Her spiritual maturity brought many opportunities to mentor and instruct women on the significance of being faithful and unwavering to God's promises and His Word. She loved serving at Parkside Church and contributing to outreaches and ministries to further God's Kingdom and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Family and friends surrounded her in her home throughout her 16-month-long journey with a glioblastoma brain tumor. Amid her surrender to His perfect will for her life, a profound ripple effect of God's glory occurred as she showed us all how to die gracefully, wholly at peace, with eyes fixed on the ultimate prize - Jesus. She is survived by all 5 siblings, her husband, 3 daughters, and her grandchildren. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD. A memorial service will take place at Parkside Church, 7100 Pettibone Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 am with Pastor Mickey Aquilino officiating.
