CYNTHIA ANN COYNE (nee Domanski), age 78, a preschool special needs teacher for the Nordonia Hills City School District for 20 years, passed away August 3, 2019 at American House in Macedonia. Cindy grew up in Dunkirk, N.Y., and received her bachelor’s degree in education from State University of New York at Fredonia. After teaching for two years in Forestville, N.Y., she moved to Cleveland and taught in the Shaker Heights School District and later served as a teacher and administrator at Lollipop Preschool in Twinsburg. In addition to her husband, John, a former Plain Dealer reporter and editor, she is survived by sons John (Elina), Eric, James and daughter, Erin Makarius (Jordan); and grandchildren Alex, Ethan, Aidan, Neala, Janna, Vivian, Evangeline and Maeve, all of Ohio. Also surviving are her brother, James Domanski (Joyce) of Syracuse, N.Y., and Susan Michaels (Richard) of Dunkirk. She is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Genevieve Domanski, and a sister, Mary Jane Krzyzanowicz (James). Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Northfield, OH. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH.
